Winery: 4Kilos Vinícola, established in August 2006 by Francesc Grimalt and Sergio Caballero, is located in Mallorca, Spain. Grimalt, an oenologist and Caballero, a musician, embarked on this venture with a modest budget but a clear vision to produce quality wines that represent the grape's strength and character. Starting in a friend's garage, they have since moved to a refurbished sheep barn on the outskirts of Felanitx. The winery has grown in reputation for its dedication to ecological practices and a passion for viticulture that respects the environment.

Wine Region: The wine is from Vino de la Tierra de Mallorca, a region known for its diverse microclimates and varied soil types, which contribute to the distinctive profiles of its wines. The region isn't bound to a single DO, allowing for a unique expression of terroir across the island.

Varietal: 4 Kilos is a monovarietal wine made from 100% Callet, a native grape of Mallorca. Callet is known for producing wines with a balance of fruit and spice, showcasing the local terroir's unique qualities.

Vintage: The specific vintage's weather conditions would influence the grapes' character, often resulting in a wine that reflects both the year's challenges and gifts. For instance, the adequate warmth and sunshine typical of Mallorca help in the development of ripe fruit flavors.
